GO HIKE & CAMP

Kirsten connects with her pups Dolly & Pearl the most when they can all disconnect together, under the stars amongst the tall pines.

GO HIKE & CAMP

Camping and hiking with your dog creates a steady rhythm in the backcountry. Covering ground by day, settling into camp by night, and moving as a team through every stretch of terrain builds a bond that deepens mile after mile.

Here’s what Ruffwear employees Kirsten, Dolly & Pearl love most about camping together.

The GO: "A weekend camping trip with my girls is my favorite way to unwind and connect with them. It's the full reset we need when life gets busy—no cell service, the smell of pine trees, and uninterrupted time outside together."

The GIFT: "TI love watching them take in all the sights and smells; they are so curious and alert about everything when we're camping. Their noses are always twitching, and their ears perk up at the sound of an elusive chipmunk or bird. It makes me laugh every time they claim the comfiest camp chair by the fire for themselves or crawl right into the middle of my sleeping bag when it's time for bed.  On the drive home, they usually fall asleep so hard they snore, and I feel so much joy that we could spend quality time together."
