Bought for my working cocker to prevent any paw injuries (and expensive vet bills) whilst mountain hiking in Snowdonia. Also purchased the socks which make getting the boots on easier - especially on a dog with fluffy feet. The socks also protect the dew claw.

Getting him used to them was hilarious - imagine Bambi on ice! Didn't laugh at him though as advised - just plenty of praise and treats!

These are great quality but should be for the price. I have tried cheaper dog boots but found Ruffwear worth the extra for the fit and quality soles. My collie has very hairy paws and in the snow they get clumps of snow in the pads which makes it uncomfortable for her to walk. These are a game changer for the snow. My collie has big paws but fairly narrow legs so putting on socks help and protect the dew claw. Happy dog, happy me 🙂

Ben has a problem with his front feet since he sustained an injury two years ago. Ben walks well in his griptex boots and is well known around his local park for his boots. He’s received many compliments from fellow dog walkers. The boots stand up well to the rigours of a springer spaniel. I would recommend these for the sheer hard wear and appearance. I have two newish pairs and two that are beginning to wear out after a year or more of continuous use.

Brilliant did use them with my previous dog so knew they were very good. Would have no hesitation in recommending them.

I purchased a pair of boots for my dog who had a stroke three years ago and drags his back feet , these boots have changed his life he can now walk on pavements again . Very good quality boots and my dog soon got used to wearing them after I followed the advice given. I would highly recommend these boots.
