Before getting this martingale dog collar, my dog would on the rare occasion escape her collar and run loose at the park and near streets. I searched various websites for a martingale collar and chose to try out this collar. It is very high quality and is very easy to adjust. Now I use this collar for every walk or outing and don't have to worry about her escaping. I feel very secure now and will be ordering another one whenever this one wears out.

This is a well made collar that I expect to last the lifetime of my dog. The material is rather stiff and rough to the touch so a dog with sensitive skin might take issue with it. There is nothing sensitive about my dog so the feel of the collar does not bother him.

Love the design and the martingale style

Counting other brands, this is our fourth Martingale. But this is the first we've tried with a buckle. Thank you Ruffwear. Pup absolutely hates having things shoved down over his face, as the other brands required. He responds well to a Martingale, and now he doesn't mind having to put one on.

Like the color. Its nice the tag doesnt jingle. I like the tag has its own spot instead of being the same as the leash attachment point. I made the mistake of ordering a leash with bungee in it so the usefulness may be negated a little but otherwise seems to work i like the webbing better than a chain.
