Behind the Design of the New Coveralls

Colder, wetter days are ahead for many canine explorers and their human companions, and being properly geared up is key to making sure we can still get out there together.

To keep the adventure going, we strongly believe that a dog jacket is an important piece of gear to have in your pup’s kit. Depending on the material and design, dog jackets can protect against rain, wind, snow, and colder temps, keeping your canine comfortable and ready to tackle whatever lies ahead. We’re stoked to introduce three new full coverage designs to our apparel collection: The Sun Shower™ Coverall, Climate Changer ™ Coverall, and Vert™ Coverall.

So what sets these apart from the average dog coat? Let’s dive in.

Full Coverage & Functional Design

While traditional dog jackets offer warmth and protection, coveralls provide a more comprehensive solution for extra muddy or chilly adventures. By extending coverage to the legs and underbelly, coveralls can help minimize dirty legs and undercarriage after exploring in wet or grimy conditions, meaning less post-outing cleanup.

The Sun Shower™ Coverall, Climate Changer ™ Coverall, and Vert™ Coverall combine comfort and functionality for dogs on the go. All three styles feature a Regular Fit (tailored with a bit wiggle room), a convenient chest zipper, and a full coverage design to keep your trail buddy clean and dry. Articulated stretch StormSleeves™ in the front and back also ensure unrestricted movement, even in the most challenging terrain.

Our new coveralls also feature a leash portal for easy wear over most harnesses, reflective accents to enhance visibility in low-light conditions, and a light loop for attaching The Beacon™.

To help you choose the perfect coverall for your dog’s needs, let's break down the individual features and ideal conditions for each style.

Sun Shower™ Coverall

Waterproof and windproof — a go-to layer to have on hand year round.

These can be worn over a midlayer if it’s wet out and the temps are chilly.
