Hi & Light™ Wanderschuhe

We live in a suburban area wear my service dog is walking or playing on pavement very often. We have tried other brands of shoes but they were hard to get on, didn’t want to stay on and I feel we’re causing more irritation. These came highly recommended and I was able to find them for a good price. I did get the same size for the front and back. I tried on multiple sizes at the store and had him walk around. The difference in size was minimal but the ease of getting them on and off , since I have limited dexterity, made me choose the size that was easier to get on and off for me. He had been wearing shoes but they were always an issue to get on him. These he loved from the beginning. He put them on and wore them all day right out of the store. They do give him a lot more traction and since he pulls my wheelchair, they have made it easier for him. They are very well made and he has had no issues with them. He even goes in and out of the pool in them. They dry quickly. And it take me a minute to put on and off even with limit hand function. I am very happy with these shoes. (Other brands had cost about the same and are not at all as well made as Ruffwear.)

These boots are fabulous! They do a great job protecting our Golden’s paws on long adventures on rough, sharp, and hot terrain. Before we put them on her on our last trip she was super dainty on her paw placement with all the pokey bushes around, but once we put them on nothing could stop her. We will be purchasing a replacement pair… or two! Can’t go wrong with anything from Ruffwear, we basically own the whole lineup!
