Bought this light weight harness for our doggy who had front right leg amputated. It goes on well, has various places to adjust to fit. Handle is good so I can take some of the weight when getting out the car. The harness can slide sideways sometimes due to amputated leg but I twist it back. It’s a nice fit down his body which is nicer for him rather than a collar.

This harness was recommended by our dog’s physiotherapist to help with his recovery from leg surgery. It’s perfect because it is so light and allows his shoulders to move freely, while the handle allows us to have some extra control to stop him bouncing (he’s a Lab…go figure!).

This is the latest in a number of Ruffwear products we have bought and we have been consistently impressed with the quality, functionality and hard-wearing nature of each item. Thank you Ruffwear for making such decent products for our dogs.

I wanted a lightweight harness for running to avoid strain on the dogs neck (particularly when doing Parkruns) and for Lakeland walking so that I can give the dog a lift over particularly rough terrain.

I can confirm that the Flagline harness has proved to be a great success and I am very pleased with it.

Minor points are that the lifting handle is a little small. I have small hands and can only get three fingers through the strap and so for some lifting need to grab hold of the whole harness.

I would say that the harness appears well made and a good quality product

The cost is possibly a little on the high side, however, being a bit of a twit, I lost my first harness by leaving it on the roof of the car and driving off. Although my dog has boundless energy, she is relatively small and as I think we would have struggled with some of the rougher Lakeland terrain without a harness, I have now purchased a second Flagline harness and am most pleased that I did.

This is the second harness I’ve purchased and again it is an excellent product. Very easy to fit and looks good, even though the first one is still in good condition, a girl needs a change of colour sometimes! A shout out for customer support who were excellent when I ordered the wrong size, I returned it and the money was refunded immediately.
