Ruffwear's apparel features an active, tailored fit that hugs close to your dog's body, designed to move with their natural range of motion. Measurement is determined by your dog’s chest girth, measured around the widest part of the rib cage. Coverage may fit slightly shorter or longer depending on your dog’s proportions. If between sizes, size up for a more relaxed fit, or down for a more snug fit.

Dogs can hold their stride with the Vert™ Vest no matter what elements are thrown their way. Designed to embrace the wintry-mix that would otherwise mean spending the day inside, the shell fabric is windproof and waterproof.

The Vert™ Vest features extended waterproof coverage over the hips and thighs and recycled, lofted insulation that packs exceptional warmth. Leg loops keep the jacket in place when the winds kick up, and the leash portal allows the Vert™ to be worn over a harness.

WATERPROOF SHELL

Shell fabric is windproof, waterproof, and breathable.

HIGH-LOFT WARMTH

High-loft recycled polyester insulation provides warmth.

LEASH PORTAL

Leash portal on back so it can be worn over most harnesses.

Side-release buckles allow for easy on/off
Oversized storm collar folds up for additional weather protection
Leg loops provide secure fit option in windy conditions
Reflective accents for visibility in low-light conditions and light loop for attaching The Beacon™

While each style of Ruffwear apparel is designed for its intended use, this guide generalizes our fits in three ways. The Vert is a Relaxed Fit with side-release buckles for easy on/off and extended vest coverage over hips and thighs.

Five enthusiastic paws up for the Ruffwear Insulated Vest
After relocating to a state with an actual winter, we needed an coat upgrade and this vest is excellent. It's unmistakably Ruffwear with durable fabric and hardware that feels built for neighborhood strolls and adventures. It goes on easily and stays put, even after enthusiastic sniffing and squirrel surveillance. Definitely worth the price!

Amazing jacket, great for snow and rain!
I have a 95lb Bernedoodle, got a size Large and took him on a ski trip with me on the coldest weekend of the year (it got to -15F at one point) and this jacket was the perfect thing. Use the size guide because I would’ve thought my dog needed the XL, but the L was just right. The blue is not as neon as it looks in the picture which was a plus to me: Stayed on even when my dog went rolling around in the snow! Love it

Great color I
Your dog coats are great. Just for me, the difference in sizes between xxs and xs is very large approx. 8 cm in length. So the coats are sometimes too short or much too big. Sometimes I find that a real shame.

Ultimate winter protection!
Already a fan of Ruffwear products and this Vest is no exception! Bought this for my 2 year old Mini-Aussie, Rosie. The quality of materials and its construction is second to none. Ruffwear gear is genuinely engineered/designed for great fit and functionality, and that is what sets it apart from all others! Great for our daily Winter walks whether icy rain, snow, wind…. whatever! She loves it and so do I! Fits nicely over her Ruffwear Flagline harness and is a breeze to put on her.
