Measurement is determined by your dog’s chest girth, measured around the widest part of the rib cage. Coverage may fit slightly shorter or longer depending on your dog’s proportions. If between sizes, size up for a more relaxed fit, or down for a more snug fit.

Designed for active exploration, the Powder Hound™ Jacket includes chest and back leash portals for use over most harnesses, reflective accents for visibility, and a light loop for attaching the Beacon™ Safety Light during low-light exploration.

    Love the upgrades

    Snuggly, warm, windproof, and waterproof. I cut slots in our dog's previous smaller one for attaching a leash on both the back and chest attachment points of a harness. New models have the covered slots built in! Our dog is deep chested, so I will sew a cinch of some type to bring in the slack on his belly for warmth, better fit, and also not have him pee into the jacket.

    I have 3 Vizslas. They are hunting dogs, need strong, good quality products, Ruffwear delivers!! Been a fan for many years. The coat is warm and well made. I just wish they had more color options. They last forever.

    Nice winter jacket

    This jacket was beautiful and would keep my pup warm but found it a bit snug in the material around the legs which was making my dog walk funny. I have a fleece one that’s similar and it allows more room for movement.
