The Palisades™ Sleep Poncho is a technical, wearable sleeping bag for dogs joining their humans camping out and trekking into the backcountry. This lightweight wearable design provides warmth and comfort at camp, moving with your dog as they find the perfect sleeping spot — relieving you of being on duty through the night to keep them covered. Packed with Ecoloft® Renew Flex synthetic insulation in an ultralight ripstop shell, it’s extremely packable for saving space and staying light during multi-day excursions.

An insulated neck baffle cinches down to keep cold drafts out while capturing body heat. Adjustable soft stretch leg loops keep the poncho in place as your companion circles up and changes sleep positions throughout the night. When nature calls for a bathroom break, easily bustle and pin up the rear end of the poncho to create plenty of clearance.

    Love this! On cold nights, no more restless dog in the tent. He doesn’t mind wearing it at all. Weighs ~13oz for the medium. Pic shows the bustle buttoned up, which allowed for mess free potty time.

    Perfection.

    Thank you for solving my camping and hiking problems! So far my dog is just using it inside but she’s loving it. As a dog with short hair she wants to be covered up pretty much all winter so this solves the constant covering her back up problem. Can’t wait to bring it into the backcountry this summer!

    Very functional!

    My dog has a thin coat and is easily chilled once the sun goes down so this was perfect for our latest camping trip! He seemed to be perfectly comfortable even when the weather dropped to ~45 degrees in the evening.

    Nice and warm sleeping poncho

    Love the adjustable leg holes to help keep the poncho in place. Great idea with the bustle on the back to keep the poncho off the ground when my dog goes to the bathroom. It is tricky to find but if you watch the video on the poncho they show you. ( it is part of the stuff sack) the stuff sack is fantastic and compresses down to much smaller. The material is light but appropriately warm. The neck is adjustable which is nice.

    I ordered the L/XL from the size chart for my Labradors they are between 70-80 lbs. and I will order the medium next time. The L/XL it almost drags on the ground when they walk. They are not short. This is a great poncho and my dog slept in it and when I felt under the poncho they were nice and warm. I would highly recommend this poncho. Great job Ruffwear for thinking of this poncho.
