The Hi & Light Harness is a lightweight, low-profile dog harness that thrives both on fast-paced pursuits and in the paws of those who appreciate the freedom of a minimalist design. It's available in a range of sizes down to XXXS, and you can dial in a sleek, comfortable fit with four points of adjustment. Stay connected with two lead attachment points: an aluminum V-ring on the back and an ultralight, ultrastrong webbing loop on the chest.

The little details pack big functionality without adding weight: a debris-resistant liner to shed dirt and fur, a small pocket for ID tags, and reflective trim to boost visibility in low-light conditions. Whether running, biking, or simply preferring to keep things cool and lighten the load, dogs can keep their momentum with the Hi & Light Harness.

    For the little ones!

    An really excited that Ruffwear now offers a light fabric, particularly as I have small dogs - think XXS size. The lightweight harness is so much better for the little pups - doesn't rub on their elbows; and is much easier to adjust. Well done Ruffwear!

    Great harness

    I was browsing online and came across a post about Ruffwear and decided to take a look. I am sure glad I did!

    I was looking for a lightweight harness that would fit my 6 month Mini Aussie pup (who is a bit of a tugger).

    They have a lot of great products, but the High and Light just stuck out for me.

    I measured his chest and ordered the XS size. When I received the product it fit well enough around his chest but I noticed there was a lot of slack in the front. After using it for awhile I ended up ordering the XXS and figured maybe when he's done growing he will fit into the other size. But, the XXS was the perfect fit.

    Now for my thoughts... This is a great harness, it's everything I was looking for. It's extremely light weight, yet has some padding so as not to be uncomfortable for him. The material is water repellant and cleans off easily. Getting my pup into the harness is fairly easy and the attachment points are easy to manage. Once he is in the harness he is very secure and he has not once been able to back out of it. The 1st time wearing it he jumped around like a bucking bronco, but now has no issues wearing it on lengthy hikes. I love the D ring on the back and the additional front attachment point. There is also a small pouch where you can put an ID tag ( I also placed an Apple air tag in there as well for additional piece of mind).

    My only complaints would be I wish it was easier to adjust the straps while on the dog. I usually have to take the harness off and…

    For a dog who is afraid of a leash

    Our dog was dropped off as a puppy on the side of the road, emaciated and fearful. Today he is a happy dog but still scared of the leash. This harness is perfect for him.
