The Hemp Hound everyday knit sweater taps into the natural durability, breathability, and odor-resistance of hemp for warmth from town to trail on clear, cold days.

The open cap-sleeve construction and full-length zipper work in tandem to not only capture core warmth, but also give hard-to-fit dogs (broad shoulders, thick chests/necks) an alternative fit option with more belly coverage and full range of motion.

While each style of Ruffwear apparel is designed for its intended use, this guide generalizes our fits in three ways. The Hemp Hound™ is a Regular Fit with a zippered closure.

Formfitting Regular Fit Relaxed Fit
Snug and conforms to the body’s contours. Can be worn standalone or layered under Relaxed apparel. Tailored with a bit of wiggle room. Can be worn standalone or layered under Relaxed apparel.     Great Dog Jacket.

    The Hemp Hound sweater is perfect for my small working cocker spaniel.Perfect to pop on when she has been out in cold wet conditions.Being very slim and having very little body fat restores her core heat and stops shivering.

    Holes in fabric

    After wearing three times 2 small holes appeared on the chest. The sweater fits well for my Shiba inu, at the back it could be 2 cm longer. The fabric is not durable. The zipper is too smooth and goes 1-2 cm by itself always open. Very disappointing for the high price.
