Great for an old swimmer
Our dog lives to swim but after knee surgery and old age I wanted to give her some help. The vest fits nice, and she doesn’t care that it’s on. She just wants to swim. Definitely has helped keep her floating better and I am not worried about her running out of steam in the lake. The handle is also great for getting her back on paddle board!

Best Float Coat
This is the second Float Coat we have purchased! It seems to be very comfortable for our pup! It fits her perfect. nothing too tight around her neck or under her arms! We will continue to purchase and will reccomend to all dog owners!

Ease of mind for mom, easier swimming for pup
We have 2 dogs that we bought float coats for. One is an 11 year old beagle who LOVES to swim, but I fear her getting tired quickly. The other is a 3 year old mix who is still learning to swim & panic splashes. These life jackets have made water activities so much less stressful. I don’t have to worry about the beagle getting as tired and the mix pup is becoming increasingly confident with the extra support. Plus, the handles make it easy to assist if we need to pull either out of the water quickly!

The Ultimate Adventure Life Jacket—Worth Every Penny!
We have owned this Ruffwear life jacket for over three years now for our girl, Luna, and it is hands-down some of the best gear we’ve ever bought. Luna is a strong natural swimmer, but this jacket gives us total peace of mind during our summers filled with boating and swimming.
If you are on the fence because of the price tag, don’t hesitate. Here is why it is absolutely worth the investment:
The Ultimate Safety Handle: This is the standout feature for us. The handle on top is incredibly sturdy. We frequently use it to hoist Luna right up onto the boat from the water, or to lift her safely in and out of trailers. It supports her weight perfectly without straining the jacket or making her uncomfortable.
High-Visibility in the Water: Even for a great swimmer, being easy to spot is crucial. The visibility this jacket provides in open water is excellent, letting us keep an eye on her at all times.
