The Flagline Harness is a fast, light, and comfortable body harness with a nimble design that keeps dogs in their flow, from scrambling in the backcountry to conquering everyday obstacles.

A handle and load-dispersing chest/belly panel make for easy lift-and-assist in a minimal design good for all-day wear. High adjustability and easy on/off make the Flagline secure and accessible, especially popular among tripods, deeming it the harness of choice for giving dogs a little boost and a lot of freedom when the path ahead is anything but flat.

    Great Harness!

    My little Coonhound has a bad habit of shrimping backwards to escape her harnesses and has gone through eight so far. This harness with its third attachment point behind the ribs works great and she cannot escape it! It cinches down comfortably around her waist and cannot go over her ribs so she is not able to back out of it. I highly recommend for any little escape artist out there. This harness also has a front and back attachment point for whichever you prefer.

    The Best Harness

    If I could give this harness 10 stars I would. I purchased this for my 65 lbs lab, Adrienne, after she was diagnosed with a brain tumor and started struggling with her mobility. The handle on top and the full belly coverage was so helpful during walks when she started getting really wobbly, provided amazing support going up and down stairs, and eventually allowed me to easily pick her up to get her in her wagon. We used this harness for 7 months and it truly made those hard months a little easier. I will forever be grateful to this brand and will recommend it to everyone.

    Great harness

    My dog is adjusting to wearing a harness for walks and this one is terrific! There are several adjustment points to get the fit correct. It runs a bit small, as I cannot get the straps into the little pockets provided. Edgar's chest measurement is at the upper end of the sizing, so the floating straps are sometimes a nuisance that he tries to chew on. It means he cannot wear it all the time.

    Even so, it has improved walks for both of us: for him, it gets his nose up off the ground, while for me, it is easier to prevent pulling. I was concerned about the front clasp not being metal, but it seems to be pretty sturdy. Time will tell.

    Perfect Harness For After TPLO Surgery

    I contacted Ruffwear to get advice on their best harness for my dog who needed TPLO knee surgery. I needed something with underside support and a handle which would enable me to lift DeeDee to get her up and down stairs and into my car. The representative recommended the Flagline harness in XS, but also suggested that I check out a different manufacturer that makes a unique harness that might also serve my purpose. Now, that's good customer service. I discussed both harnesses with my veterinary surgeon and decided that Ruffwear's Flagline would be best for my dog's situation. The Flagline harness is perfect, and DeeDee seems quite comfortable wearing it. It will remain her harness even after her leg has healed and she is finished with rehab.
